Our Story

Welcome to Chattabrewchee The Hangar, a veteran-owned craft brewery located in Hapeville, Georgia. We’re proud to be a pet and family-friendly destination, hosting events that bring our community together. In our taproom, we offer high-quality craft beer, brewed on-site and distributed to select local markets.

Our name, Chattabrewchee, is a playful nod to our roots in the Chattahoochee River area. The Hangar, our Hapeville location, draws inspiration from its proximity to the world's busiest airport.

As per Georgia law, we’re licensed to sell only the beer we produce right here in our brewery. This location, once home to the historic Arches Brewing, carries on the legacy of quality and community, but with a fresh, aviation-themed atmosphere.

Our brewery is 100% aviation-inspired, reflecting the spirit of flight that’s so close to our hearts. Beau, one of our owners, is a retired U.S. Air Force pilot and currently an airline pilot based in Atlanta. Nicole, our other owner, seamlessly blends family life with business, creating a welcoming environment for all. We promise to bring the same quality and care you’d expect when flying through friendly skies.
